Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, Editor-in-Chief of ITEF Geographical & Environmental Review (ITEF-GER) and Honorary Advisor of Intelligentsia Teacher Educators Foundation (ITEF), Dhanbad, is a distinguished geographer of Jharkhand and Bihar, renowned for his extensive contributions to Indian geography. As the founding figure of the Department of Geography at Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University (BBMKU), Dhanbad, he served as Head until his retirement, shaping the department into a center of academic excellence and research. Dr. Singh’s prolific scholarship includes numerous publications in reputed national and international journals, reflecting his depth of expertise. He has actively organized and guided several national and international conferences, fostering collaboration among geographers and allied disciplines. A life member of the Association of Geographers Bihar and Jharkhand, and the National Geographical Association of India, he continues to enrich the profession through active engagement. Currently, his research focuses on Educational Geography and the Geography of Education, emphasizing spatial dimensions of access, equity, and development.
